Wiping as Intended is a tight-knit group of players who have played together over the years and want to continue the legacy in FFXIV. We strive to attack new content and clear new bosses at an efficient rate with our shorter raid week. We're looking for applicants that wish to push content and share our goal for being a top rated guild.

Below is a series of requirements for joining our free company. Please take the time to read all the requirements and the section on how our recruitment process works.

Please take your time and answer all our questions. Proof reading the application goes a long ways towards getting in!

Are you looking to join as a non raider? Follow the post instructions in the Recruitment forum to apply!

Requirements:

1.) You must be an active player and able to maintain +80% overall attendance on our three night raid schedule which is currently Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 8:30PM form up to 12:00AM EST.

2.) Be Self Motivated and strive for better

3.) Your computer and internet connection must be reasonably stable.

4.) Mumble is required!

5.) Wiping as Intended is an adult guild.18+ Only

6.) We want people who are social and actually want to play the game. If you think you aren't going to stay with this game or move on to <next big mmo here> then don't apply.

7.) Please do not bring any sort of negativity to the raid or to the forums. This reflects poorly on the guild and on yourself. If you have a problem, PM an officer. If you cannot handle issues this way we may not be the guild for you.

Expectations.

Skill and Motivation:

Being a part of our guild means you want to progress through content, and progress efficiently. This means you must put in time outside of raiding to properly gear yourself and inform yourself of Mechanics and other things that are necessary for the instance.

Conduct:

The standard don't be a douche rule applies. When you wear our tag, you will be respectful. This doesn't mean you can't play around with friends or stir some competition with competitors, but we absolutely have no room for people who drag drama in this guild.

Trial Period:

To apply to the guild, go to http://waiguild.guildlaunch.com/ and click the "Apply to Free Company" link on the side of the webpage. Follow the instructions and we'll get back to you ASAP with any questions, etc. We are looking for excellent players that want to advance their play style to a new level. Those looking to join "Wiping as Intended" should be mature, great players, and able to have a good time while raiding.

After your application is submitted, the officers will review it; if any officers or members have questions they need to ask, they will do so in the application post. If we will all the questions have been answered well and your application appears to have the makings of a good player, an officer will contact you for a mumble interview. If the interview goes well, you will be invited to join our guild!

Those accepted into the guild will undergo a three week trial period in which their performance will be judged. Some leeway will be given to applicants and new members at the release of the game. Trial members are expected to have extensive knowledge of their role and class as well be appropriately geared for current content needs. Those applying at and before the release of the game are given some leeway in the trial process.

Loot Distribution:

Wiping as Intended uses a loot council system decided by officers for the distribution of our loot. If loot is your primary concern to raid, then this is not the guild for you. We distribute loot based on what is most beneficial to the guild; a combination of tenure, how big of an upgrade the piece is, and time between loot drops are all taken into account.

If you ever have a problem regarding loot or any other issue with anything regarding the guild, always feel free to whisper and officer to handle the situation.

Attendance and Raid Times:

80% attendance is mandatory, except in times of extreme circumstances. If you are going to be absent and you know it you are required to post on our absence thread in guild.

Wednesday 8:30pm-12:00am EST / 5:30pm - 9pm PST
